Stay @ Bedlam Mates Place and make yourself at home - right in the centre of the Kings Cross backpacker scene. Kings Cross is a lively nightclub area & red light district which is at the heart of Sydney's backpacker scene so there is always lots to do & lots of travellers to do it with! but please dont expect it to be too quiet

This is a perfectly sized, owner operated business which is big enough to meet lots of different types of people & not too big to be impersonal. Rich, the owner, knows everything and will do everything to assist to make your stay as comfortable as possible. And T will assist you in achieving a state of overhangedness

Hang out in the lounge and watch a movie on our large screen cable/Plasma TV. Cook a meal in the fully equipped modern kitchen, Bedlam Mates Place Backpackers is a WiFi Hotspot with free internet access.


There are Pub crawls with free beer or champagne almost every day- a great way to make new mates. Car parking is available on the street for free. Reception hours are 8am – 2pm & 5pm til 11pm 7 days. You are welcome to arrive at any time if you either wait in the tv room for reception hours or give us advance notice of when you intend to arrive!

HOSTEL FEATURES

Your dorm sleeps 4, 6, 8 or even 12! - all bed linen provided plus towels!- There is also the option to book a 4 bed dorm with a double bed for use as a private double.

Every dorm has air-conditioning, luggage lock-up(free of charge just bring your own padlock), plus a fridge. Most have en suite bathrooms. Female only rooms available. Key access to the building provides security guest access 24 hours a day.
